Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Tap at Mondial 2010. Pours a nice medium to light amber with a nice foamy head somewhat lasting. Aroma is medium caramel, toast, light musky, fresh cut hay and grass, with a spicy phenolic Belgian yeasty character with pepper and grass with old flowers. Flavor is earthy, slight mineral, burnt toffee, light caramel sweetness, big carbonation and not too much sweetness keeps it feeling airy and mostly dry for such a big beer- gets more lemon pepper, and zesty in the finish. Not bad. Hardly any maple syrup noticed.
