Presentation: 32 oz. growler, served in a BBCo. glass. Appearance: The color is a very dark brown, almost black. It develops a dark tan, half finger head that quickly goes away. It leaves some spotty lacing throughout. Smell: Overall it is a very sweet scent with notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate and vanilla. Taste: Thereís a dominant taste of toasted bread complemented by some malt and vanilla flavors. Mouthfeel: Despite itís robust appearance, it is refreshing and surprisingly light, a bit watery even. Carbonation is very light. Overall: BBCo.ís first milk stout attempt is a success. This and interesting and well made beer that is definitely worth a try. Sadly, it has only been brewed once and is not part of their regular lineup.
