Bottle, 4.8%. Weak chalky aroma. Pale golden colour, stable white head. The flavour is nicely citric and slightly fruity with a little hay and malt. Dries out a little towards the end giving room for a little bitterness.

Der Geschmack ist malzig, leicht säuerlich und leicht hopfig, ziemlich mild, es schmeckt mir gut ist aber nicht so spektakulär wie ich es erwartet habe, naja ist ja auch nur ein Dampfbier kein Rauchbier oder so etwas. Ein Freund mit dem ich geteilt habe fügte hinzu: nicht zu bitter auch nicht (zu bitter) im Nachgeschmack, ziemlich mild. Fazit: Ordentlich! Aber unerwartet normal. Tap. Pours clear yellow with average, frothy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is straw and cereal malt, corn, apples, and faint grassy hops. Flavor is malt dominate with faint fruit esters and hops; crisp finish. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

fromerly rated at BTO 08.03.2007: Danke an MoritzF! Hopfenbetont, minimal säuerlich und ansatzweise etwas muffig. Nicht besonders vollmundig, aber insgesamt ganz gut.

500 ml bottle picked up in Germany and had at home. Pours a straw yellow, small head, fizzy carbonation. Weak flower and cardboard aroma. Grainy herbal water taste and a really bad Dortmunder.

Bottle. I mistook this one for a dampfbier by style in the shop. I guess I got what I deserved. Straw yellow with quickly dissipating head. Bready-grainy-malty sweetish aroma with some sweet, intensive, partly rotten apples. Taste is mainly watery, then malty with some apples, very weak bitterness and no aftertaste whatsoever. Weak.

Etwas fauliger Antrunk, das Bier wirkt sehr schal. Leicht hopfiger, minimal herber Mittelteil sowie Nachhall. Aromenarm. Ich kann hier nichts gutes finden, das vom Bierfürst angesprochene "Kühlschrankaroma" finde ich hierbei passend als Beschreibung. Test vom 19.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,4,5,3,9,4 - 4,65

Herbe Geruchsaromen. Geschmacklich brotartig mit hopfigen Beimengungen. Fast unangenehmer Beigeschmack, welcher das Trinkvergnügen schwer nach unten zieht. Herb-bitterer Abgang. Das Dampfbier der Stern-Brauerei reißt mich nicht vom Hocker. Kaufe ich nicht nochmal.Test vom 19.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

In the glass the beer looks very pale yellow, the foam disappears very quickly. Starts slightly hoppy, minimal dry, otherwise very sweet and watery. No, idea if a Dampfbier (steam beer) should taste like this, but this one tastes more like a mediocre Lager Beer!

Bottle. Sweet creamy barley malt with hint of berries - light but nice. Clear yellow color with large white head. Slightly sweet malt and mildly bitter grass/metallic flavor. What’s there is okay - just very light.

Bottled from bierzwerg.de. Golden with a thick creamy white head and with a nose of hay and hops. The aroma has hay and hops and a bit of sweet. The flavour is somewhat sweet with a dry and slightly bitter finish.
