On draught at the brewery: Cloudy, orangey coloured, firm, mid-sized white head; yeasty, fruity nose, a bit similar to an average wheat-beer: traces of bananas, also malts ond shy hops; very shy, sweetish fruity-bitter taste, mild bitter sweet finish; not very impressive and a bit bland.......

From tap a the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, light toasted and malty. Bitter, light citrusy, crisp hoppy. Ends dry and bitter, light fruity.

Naja.. 11/8/7/7//8

On tap in Essen. Hazy golden pour with foamy white head. Aroma is a little more citrus oriented than many Zwickelbiers I’ve tried. Flavor is relatively sweet. Yeasty. Pretty well balanced. Pretty good beer, but not the best I tried at the bar/restaurant/brewpub/whatever.

(tap at the brewpub in Essen-Borbeck) Hazy golden colour with a small foamy white head, slowly lacing. Yeasty and sweet malty aroma with hints of citrus-fruits (oranges). Initially moderately sweet malty, yeasty taste with a slightly unpleasant tartness; dry and quite thin light-hoppy finish. Drinkable but boring (16.01.06).
