COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One way to describe this beer is “a dark beer for people who don’t like dark beers.” Another way is “delicious.” Notes of cocoa, espresso, and delicately roasted barley blend nicely with real Mexican vanilla from Arizona Vanilla Company. This medium bodied, highly sippable beer is quickly becoming a local favorite.

16oz. can. Black pour with hardly any head. Lite aroma of vanilla and cocoa. Medium sweet chocolate and vanilla with some coffee in the background. Low carbonation, smooth semi sweet finish. A desert beer. Good beer.

Can. Pours a near-black color with a moderate light-brown head on there. Nose is fairly heavy on the vanilla, but pleasantly so, and includes some roasting and hints of chocolate. Taste is fairly sweet, and has a lot of vanilla, but little "porter" to it. Smell is much better than the taste for me.

Deep coffee color with light sudsy tan head. Strong vanilla aroma and flavor over decent roast character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown pour with small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, burnt malts and vanilla. Taste of roasted malts, hint of chocolate, touch of bitter espresso and syrupy vanilla. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, pretty good porter.

Can. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong vanilla and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with rich chocolate, sweet vanilla, good.

On tap at The Little Woody, Phoenix. This is an enjoyable, flavorful porter; flavors of Porter and vanilla were present, and it developed more flavor as it warmed. I prefer some underlying bitterness in a porter that isn’t present here, but I don’t think that’s by accident; this is supposed to be easy to drink, and it is. Medium consistency.

Draft at World of beer Tempe. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a lot of artificial smelling vanilla in the nose. Tastes of fake vanilla and burned malt. Finish lingers a bit which sucks since I hate the taste of this beer.

A dark brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, a smooth chocolate malt with milk, coffee, and coconut. In mouth, a sweet grassy and herbaceous chocolate with vanilla, mocha, very sweet but not overbearing.

Nutty, sweet stout aroma. Very sweet and mildly astringent. Light roast, fruity, sugary. Medium body. Light coffee and sugar finish. O.H.S.O. Eatery & NanoBrewery, on tap.
