2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 csbosox (1204) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - JAN 17, 2007
Out of the bottle at Double Pizza in Montreal in Oct ’05. Smells sweet, tastes sweet with some citrus and spice. Is this a faux wit? Not too much different than the Doree, sweet as all get out, but this one has a touch more flavor. Boreale is apparently adjunct free, which make it better than BMC products. Real fucking sweet.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 TheJester (1460) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 10, 2007
341 mL bottle. Orange-gold in colour, with a thin film of head. Smells like malt and corn. Tastes like malt and corn, with a touch of citrus. Flat finish. Not so good. Funny. I remember liking this stuff on tap, years ago.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rederic (2559) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 2, 2006
Bright yellow gold color, with a rocky white head, sweet pale malt, hint of floral hops, with a touch of honey in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet toasted grains character, pale malt, honey sweetness, leading towards a malty sweet grainyness and faint hops bittering finish.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Glouglouburp (5562) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 21, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2006 Blonde body, medium white head, limited lacing. Looks like a boring macro blonde, but looks can be deceiving, if I’d look under the label I’d probably see that’s it’s a fake blonde. Rather tasty. Biscuit and hops aroma. Taste is biscuit/baked bread and a strong hop character with some bitterness (even more so than their Rousse). Unfortunately I notice a little cardboard flavour in the finish even in the tap version. Overall a nice blonde ale that can help to show the light to some macro drinkers.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Beer Snob (484) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 21, 2006
From bottle and "en fut": Amazing that a small brewer can make such a perfect imitation of Canadian macro swill.
Immediately forgettable - over carbonated, some maltiness in the aroma, artificially sweet tasting and an aftertaste that left a mild but unpleasant bitterness.
