COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boréale Blonde is made from a pale malt of premium, two-row barley that gives it a luminous colour and velvety flavour. Selected hops add a crisp and refreshing bitter harmony to the mellow notes.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2005 Bottle. This is almost the only blonde or pilsner or beer of this kind that i can drink. Hopy and malty, this beer is different and tasty if u compare it to any Molson, Labatt, Bud and .... (crap like that). But 9/10 this beer is infected. I reccomend also the Champs’s Pilsner, if u want to try something a little bite different in this large and crapy market of the pilsner or try the one brewed by Biereofolie.

Gaolden beer with a frothy white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Taste is malty and hoppy, with nice bitter ending. Enjoyable.

Clear blonde color with a medium, fugaceous white head, poor lacing. Mild aroma of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet, malty and hoppy, slightlu bitter finish. Light body, lively carbonation. Well, I’m quite suprised by this one, it’s much better than expected.

Tasted in Toronto. Obtained from Ottawa or Hull. Tasted in an English pint glass. Tasted at about 40C on a hot and humid nasty day in Toronto, in a 100+ year old house in high park (which I am thankful to live in and own) while listening to lambchop (nine) which is a very good thing. First hint of anything is skunky nasty scent. Absolutely terrible. Aroma is...well didn?t I just hint at it. Appearance is medium golden/yellow with a light/thin white head and high carbonation. Taste is of barley with a slightly sour hoppy finish. Like a great big nasty Canadian macro.

Not much to say here, except maybe the head is almost non-existent. Nice golden color though but not much in terms of taste.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2004 Re-rate: Mildly hop nose, lightly toasty aroma. Clear blond body with decent white head that recedes slowly and good carbonation. Nice light toasty malt flavour with a touch of balancing hops. Carbonation is high and body is light - a good thirst quencher on a muggy evening. On tap (at Frappe St. Laurent). Original rating (4-2-5-2-11=2.4): Sweet corn and mild hops in the aroma. Clear blond beer with thin white fully diminishing head. Fair amount of bitterness that almost overshadows a gentle toasty malt flavour with little hop flavour. Body is pretty thin and highly carbonated. Bottle.
