2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 12, 2003
Caramel and flour nose. Malt and hops doesnt seem perfectly balanced in mouth, malt is too dominant I find. A little wheat and a shy bitterness decorates the end.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jerc (5580) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 23, 2005
Bottle. Finally got around to rating this. First time I had it was at some crazy goth bar in Montreal. FouFounes? I am not sure how we ended up there, this being the trip of toboggan rides down the hill from the McGill residence, asking for directions from hookers and such. Regardless, this rating was from a bottle purchased and consumed in July 2005. Golden yellow, small white head starts nice and fades. Sweet corn-vegatal aroma wih a vaguely chemical note throughout both the aroma and flavour. unforunately harsh bitterness. Bit thin. Remembered this as being more average and less mediocre. Oh well. At least there was the Cawthra graduate barteneder to talk to way back when.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 21, 2005
Draught at a random pub on St-Denis in Montréal, QC Light blond color (wow, very descriptive Jordan) with a thick creamy white head. The nose is husky with some light fusels and crispy hop sweetness. The flavor is bland, some body and malts are present. At least they didn’t use 6-row.
