Bottle. This was one of the beers I drank during my transition from macro brews to craft beers, but haven’t had it in a long time. Appearance is clear yellow with a medium frothy head with below average retention and average lacing. Aroma is grainy, with a very tiny touch of herbal hops. Not much else. Flavor is also cereals with honey and a very small dose of fruits and some herbs. Medium body. Nothing special, but there are no major flaws and it is very drinkable and refreshing.

Originally rated August 2005. Pours a golden colour with notes of orange. Foamy semi-cream white head that dissipates quickly and leaves hardly any lace. Very light carbonation. The nose is grainy with malt and , reminds me of Steam Whistle Pilsener. Taste mildly the malt with a slight bitter aftertaste. Nice and dry mouthfeel. Much better then what I remembered, when I tried it the first time.

Odeur de sirop de maïs. Direct et sans subtilité. Couleur jaune un peu pâlote. Le goût met le sucre à l’avance met il y a juste assez de houblon pour que ça ne devienne pas du jus. En fait, c’est pas mal meilleur que la moyenne pour le style (ce qui n’en fait pas une favorite pour autant!).

Pas si mal avec sa texture assez onctueuse. Assez quelquonque avec comme seul attrait, un peu de miel. Pas assez facile à boire.

Bouteille 341 ml. 4.5%. Couleur jaune paille, mousse blanche. Arôme de céréales. Goût de céréales, maïs et un peu de houblon. Finale fraiche, cold and crisp. Une très bonne blonde classique d’été.

341ml bottle. Light and malty, this was a pretty common tasting blonde. Worth what I paid for it.

pours a bright golden with a decent white head, low retention. bready, cereals, honeyed malts. light herbal-citrusy hops. light body, aggressive carbonation. meh.

Très belle blonde couleur de paille sous un honnête col couleur os laissant une généreuse dentelle au verre. Des arômes singuliers, mais agréables de foin et un houblonage sobre de conifères. Définitivement un maltage de qualité! Amertume légère et rafraichissante. Bière au corps léger, vive effervescence et longue fin très légèrement amère.

34.1 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cardboardish and flat malty to cornish. Sweet and cornish. Bitter and cornish finish.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Skunky fruity nose, a little oxidized. Medium body, some golden fruit and a metallic touch. Ends dry with a yeasty touch. 050411
