COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nearly black with ruby glints and a creamy head, Boréale Noire is a full-bodied stout. Its rich velvety taste suggests dark chocolate and roasted coffee with hints of licorice.

Bottle (341 ml). Black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee and slight liquorice notes. Taste is about the same. Slight bitterness. Medium body. Dry. Good Stout, but I remember it to be better on tap.

33cl bottle ought at the Brussels xmas market. Certainly the best offering out of the 6 beers that were available from Br. du Nord.

Aroma: Roasting, coffee, smoked meat, with notes of black chocolate. Average stout nose sticking out moderately. Appearance: Opaque black, head is average, creamy and sparkling at the same time, long lasting with a little lacing. Taste: Coffee accents are dominant and texture is kind of smooth and oily. We can also find notes of roasted caramel. A good but not exceptional stout.
