Light pale ale, easy drinking, light carbonation ale, this would be a great summer beer on the porch ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally rated August 2005. Pours a deep amber colour with a nice creamy foam head. Retention is decent and lacing is minimal. Good mixture of roasted malt and nuts for the nose. The nuts come through in the flavour as well, with a mild bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is crisp. Pretty decent Irish red style.

Tap. Light to moderate caramel and bread for the malt, faint herbs for the hops with distant dried fruit in the background, Head is small, creamy, slightly off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkilng clear light reddish brown. Flavor starts slightly sweet and acidic, then finishes faintly bitter. Palate is light to medium, slightly creamy and a soft carbonation. This is an extremely easy Amber Ale with an overall softness to it.

draft - Pours clear deep copper with an off-white, lingering head. It has an extremely mild aroma. The flavor is sweet and grainy with a hint of caramel. It’s bubbly, light, and watery on the palate with a mild hop finish. It looks good and then it’s downhill from there.

341ml bottle. Simple with light carmel maltiness, very drinkable. Probably the best of the Boréale variety pack we picked up.

Fin assez rapide. Agréable et rafraichissante.

Moderately sweet malt aroma. Off-white head, reddish colour. Nice palate, very soft and smooth. Little aftertaste, very easy drinking beer. Not a ton of flavour going on, but enough that you’re not bored. A great substitute for a macro if you wanna drink lots of beer but don’t want to fill up or feel like you’ve wasted something good.
