Shared bottle, courtesy of Cardinal. Amber color with a light tan head. Aromas of malt and caramel. Reminds me of a bitter in aromas. Light flavors of malt and faint grassy hops. Low bitterness.

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of matl, caramel, grain and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel and grainy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, dense offwhite head. The aroma has some caramel and bread, a touch of prunes and some grass. There’s not much bitterness going on, but not much sweetness either. Bread, caramel and some grassy hints. Medium to thin on the palate, soft. Quite short finish. Decent, far from exciting. 150611

Caramel malt prevalent in aroma and taste. Light bitterness, fairly bready. Lighter body - I wouldn’t mind a bit more backbone to this. Decent for what it is.

Amber with small white head. Malty - bitter taste with some sourness and roasted notes. Some biiterness remains on the tongue.

On tap at the fish and chips place down the street from our hotel Montreal. Pours a clear copper amber with a thin tan head. Soft caramel on the nose, thinned out malt. Thin side of medium bodied, browned sugar, caramel and toffee. Crisp malty finish. Inoffensive but not memorable.

Clear red-amber body and tan head which laces the glass well. Aroma is of fresh baked bread, malt and hops. Flavor is deliciously bready with notes of sweetness. Dry, refreshing and crisp, this is a boss.

This amber ale poured a deep amber colour with a light tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include sweet malt, cereal and caramel. First swig had medium/low carbonation with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Flavours of semi-roasted malts and light hop flavours with a little toast on the side. Finish is lightly bitter with a little hop flavour lingering.

Cheers!
