UPDATED: JUL 14, 2011 With dinner in The Laundromat Cafe, Reykjavik. I give some extra credit for the Nordic design bottle. Pours a dark straw body, with foamy head, that leaves a beautiful lacing. Malt with a hint of orange, fruit and hops. I actually liked it best with food. (22.Apr.2011)

Bottled. Clear golden, coarse head. Fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium-light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slightly perfumy with low bitterness. Like all Borg beers this comes across as a commercial beer with nice polishing on the surface.

Bottle served with dinner at the Cafe de Paris, Reykjavik. Pours clear and blonde, with an appealing deep straw color. Taste is pleasant, hints of honey with some floral notes. A fine beer to have with dinner.

From bottle at SlovakSniper & Rodenbach99 Iceland super tasting, merci beaucoup Yan, Yan et Pat! Light yellow pour with a bit of white head. Light grainy aroma, slightly soapy. Taste is light and grainy, not very flavorful at all. Palate: Well carbed, light bodied. Thought for sure this was another premium lager, it’s bland but not revolting.

(Sample at rodenbach99 Iceland beer festival) Ultra clear golden in color without any foam. Nose and mouth are on the same level: sweet honeyish pils maltiness with a very low noble hop presence. Body is medium with moderate carbonation. Texture is thin but never watery. Aftertaste remains malty. Many thanks to Yan for bringing back this bottle from Iceland

Sharp but light spicy bitter aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Light beginning getting slightly bitter in the finish.
