2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 JensenTaster (1718) - - AUG 17, 2005
(on bottle at RBESG 2005)A clear bottle? Brown colour, white head. malt, but very mild. Also a mild carbonation, no trace of alcohol here either, maybe the malts are too much for the mere 6,6%?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bathory (55) - Bryne, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2012
This one was awarded the best beer in norway award in 2011. That’s an ridiculous choice when you see all the beers of Nøgne Ø, Haandbryggeriet, Kinn and Ægir as some examples. It has aroma af caramel malts, some chocolate and coffee, and a bitter and alcohol-characterized finish. Dark brown colour with a white head. An okey beer, but has some to go to the best ones I’ve tried.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Holmen1 (95) - - APR 20, 2012
330 ml clear glass bottle, doesn’t look promising. Nice mouthfeel. Notes of medium roast coffee, caramel and malt sweetness. Perfectly decent bock.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Alexus (150) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAR 20, 2012
330ml botte. Initially I was really pessimistic about this beer. But it surprised me. Copperbrown in color, with a light tan head. Leaves nice lacing down the glass. Aromas of sweet malts and dark fruits. Flavors of sweet malts, biscuits, prunes and raisins. A nice alco. warmth to the end. I liked it...
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Oysteib (23) - NORWAY - JAN 13, 2012

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Foffern (283) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2012
Bottle at home. Dark reddish brown colour with thin light beige head. Sweet aromas of berries, leather and chocolate. More dark chocolate in the mouth along with leather. A very slick mouthfeel. The taste is okay but a little bit too sweet in my opinion.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BillHick420 (121) - North Dakota, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Pours dark brown with a slightly tanned head. Aroma of dark sweet malts, hints of Christmas spices, and brown sugar. Unbalanced, as there is a wall of sweetness, and no bitterness detectable. However, this beer is supposed to be sweet, I like it that way.
