33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 13.01.2015
Aroma is a bit musty with chocolate, hay, some licorice, hints of ash and coffee. Flavour is sweet with vanilla and cocoa, Finishes with coffee and ash. Feels quite hoppy with some grapefruit tones at the middle of the glass. A bit too ashy but nice still.

33cl bottle at Őllesummer, Tallinn. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Dark malty aroma with roasty notes, chocolate and hints of coffee. Medium sweet with pleasant roasty flavours and a mild, but balanced bitterness. Nice. (2014-07-10)

Bottle from Vínbúđin
Black color with generous brownish head. The aroma is modern, combining coffeeish malts and C-hops; some bread. The mouthfeel is quite dry, the body is lean; the roasted malts assume just a small character of coffee; strong bitterness, with hidden hop resins in the final; impression of lactose.
A good beer.

Okay porter, characteristic with stout like tendencies. Malt, caramel, a little sweet. Dark brown in color. I remember some coffee and cocoa syrup, not a lot. Low hopped.

Poured deep dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of smokey malt, liquorice, milk chocolate and coffee. Medium body, flavour much as the aroma, heading towards a Baltic.

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark brown color. Small size, off-white head, stays. Roast, coffee beans, milky aroma. Nice coffee roast, sweet flavor. Long lasting coffee roast in aftertaste. Did I mention coffee? Highly drinkable.

Bottle shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Very dark brown, brown head. Nose is stale coffee, roast. Flavor is smooth malt, some burned notes, wood, chocolate. Oily mouthfeel, almost like syrup. Straightforward stuff.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Bottle. Dark brown body, small beige head. Aroma has dry, somewhat stale coffee roast. Thick but smooth mouthfeel. Mildly ashy taste with some bitter cocoa and raw coffee beans. More similar to stouts than porters. I would say it resembles that one bottle of "Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast" that I tried to cellar: of course it didn’t go well - the aromatic coffee parts just turned stale and developed a bad kind of bitterness.

330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Rather nice stale coffe-grounds aroma. Very dark brown, small tight tan head. Nice fruity restronasals. Really deep roast, some burntness, more stale coffee in the taste. Palate very full and quite smooth, decent carbonation. Finish a bit dry, burntness becomes more astringent with the biting bitter hops reinforcing it. Might be slight overrate, as some sips weren’t up to much.

Stale coffee aroma, black nondescript colour. Average but tasty enough with hint of alcohol.
