Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a beige medium head. Aroma is dark bread, mild coffee, caramel, chocolate, melon. Taste is light+ sweet and bitter. Body is medium, texture is light creamy, carbonation is near moderate. Finishes light sweet with caramel and mild coffee. Drink-ability is great - I could easily drink this often.

Zarkam (508) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 23, 2015
330ml bottle, black colour, small frothy mostly vanishing tan head, good lacing. Heavily malty and roasty aroma of coffee, chocolate and plums with moderate sprucey and herbal hops in the background. Taste is initally moderately sweet, slightly sour in the midle and has a longish moderately bitter finish with a burnt feel. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fairly good porter though not particularly unique, body could be a bit fuller.

Pours an opaque black with a small brown head that leaves little lace. Aroma. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, coffee and espresso beans. Taste is roasted malts, dark chocolate, espresso and has a nice dry finish. Carbonation is a bit high and gives a touch of acidity otherwise a great porter!

Bottle. This is a really nice big porter that has loads of roasted malt punch and a nice alcohol underpinning.
