2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 tfredvik (630) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 16, 2011
Medium brown body with a small, short-lived, off-white head that reduces to a thin layer. Malty sweet aroma with some dark fruits, faint hoppy notes and even fainter traces of chocolate and coffee. The taste is medium sweet with a light bitter finish, the flavours are clean but faint, I get mostly caramel. The hoppy parts in the aroma are not present in the flavours. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Boring.
[50 cl can, from Rimi Korsvoll, Oslo]

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 daje (1291) - NORWAY - DEC 2, 2011
Bottle. This looks quite good, deep dark brown/ruby with big beige head. Gave it a 3 first, but as the head stays so big it’s a 4 for me.
Sweet aroma with caramel and roasted malt. Taste is a bit like the aroma, with added sweetness and coffee notes. A bit sweet finish for me, but not bad overall.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Palme (2252) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2010
0.5l can. Pours a redbrown body with a thin lacing head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate and some strange oaky flavor. Some roasted mats, caramel and some what sweet. Lively carbonated and perhaps a bit thin body. I was surprised that this actually was as good as it was, cause I had no expectations what so ever. One of the best > 4.7% i have tasted this year.
