COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Rune. Ultramørkebrun/svart. Lavt, lett farget skum. God aroma av melkesjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken mer sjokolade men også lakris & kaffe. Bra - men litt lite variasjon. Litt bunnfall igjen på flaska.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order (bu). Black color, some foam. Medium aroma intensity; roasty, leather, dark choclate and malt. Medium/full body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Very enjoyable

Dark brown colour. Very thin head, which disapears quite quickly. Quite straightforward coffee aroma. Maybe even coffee bean aroma. Some raisins and burnt caramel at first. It quicly changes into coffee been taste, which stays to the end. Bitter finish. Rather medium bodied, low carbonated, quite straightfoward coffee porter. It is all about raw coffee beans.

330 ml bottle. BB 06/10/16. At the Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere, Finland. Dark reddish brown color with no head. Berries, dryness, pencil and some chocolate in the aroma. The flavor is roasted malt, darkness, pencil, mild berries and some mild vinegar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En ganske så plain porter. Ingen bryggtekiske feil, men er litt for lite markant for meg.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Stas. Deep brown with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, caramel. Taste - moderate sweet, cocoa, coffee and prunes flavors, dry-ish roasty finish. Medium-bodied, smooth and pleasant. Nice.

Flaske fra helsekostbutikken på Kvadrat (Sandnes), hjemme etter å ha montert min nykjjøpte Grainfather: brunsvart med ok skum. Aroma av mild kaffe, litt lakris og bjørnebær. Bær og sjokolade tar over lot slutten. Halvtørr og fin ettersmak, meget lett å helle innenfor snippen. Gjester til tranfigelse.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Deep brown with brownish head. The aroma has lots of coffee, roasted malt and some minerals. Flavor of coffee, sourish and bitterish, some roastiness, notes of dried fruits, very dry. Light to medium-bodied. Nice.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø, shared with Richard. Shiny naked surface to a deep, dark brown body. Fragile lacing. Aroma of roasted dark malts with hints of liquorice. Dark bread and liquorice flavours followed by a nice twist of coffee bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Decent (Tromsdalen 16.01.2016).
