Flavour holds a solid malt flavour with distinct spice note and slowly growing bitterness. gunnfryd (2634), Kristiansand, Norway May 5, 2008 Bottle. Copper colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt. Flavour is sweet, caramel, malt, hint of roastiness. Medium body. Easy drinkable beer. yngwie (3311), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 8, 2008 Bottle. A clear, copper body and a decent, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is bready, caramel-sweetish, slightly roasted, and hop-fruity. It has a pleasant fruity presence in the flavor, almost balancing the malty, bready and caramellish flavors. Decent bitterness and roastyness towards the finish, and medium body-fullness. So pleasantly easy to drink it’s a shame it has such pour distribution compared to the other Borg beers. (080308) omhper (9937), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 15, 2007 Bottled. Dark amber, rich fluffy head. Caramelly and perfumy. Sweet and lightly fruity. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish. A bit short in the mouth and well fruity, but respect where respect is due - this is one of the better renditions of the style I’ve some across from more commerical brewers. Gr0ve (1076), Oslo, Norway Nov 6, 2007 330 ml botle. Copper colour. Clear. Tall white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Rounded sweet maltiness. Definitely a lager as this is obvious from the aroma. Crisp texture with papery dry hoppiness. Dry mouthfeel. Some chocolatey malt flavours. Quite light, but overall this a nice oktoberfest if a little on the bland side.
