Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear warm amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of chicory and roasted malt. Medium body with sweet malts and light notes of caramel and a somewhat bitter finish. Not your typical Oktoberfestbier. 030608 Rune_Stumo (67), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 1, 2008 21.09.2003, 0,33l bottle. Nice dark brown colour. The ber tastes nice but the body is thinner than the colour tells. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 33 cL clear bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a fully diminished off white head. Spiced malt aroma. Flavour holds a solid malt flavour with distinct spice note and slowly growing bitterness. yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 8, 2008 Bottle. A clear, copper body and a decent, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is bready, caramel-sweetish, slightly roasted, and hop-fruity. It has a pleasant fruity presence in the flavor, almost balancing the malty, bready and caramellish flavors. Decent bitterness and roastyness towards the finish, and medium body-fullness. So pleasantly easy to drink it’s a shame it has such pour distribution compared to the other Borg beers. (080308)
