500 ml can, ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, big white head. Very moderate sweetish aroma, notes of candy. The flavour is utterly bland and boring, notes of pear drops in the sweetish finish. Another "lite" beer to be avoided.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20 ClubGonzo (1955) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2011
Can. How come I haven’t been able to find this before? :-S Slightly dark-hued pale lager body, head goes *puff* and disappears extremely quickly. Aroma is sweet, wort-like pale malts and hints of some bad funk, reminding me of a washing cloth that’s been hanging in a semi-moist state in my kitchen for about a week or so. Taste is extremely bland, with hints of over-sweetened pale malts and strange metallic hints. Hard to describe it, actually, in other terms than "not good". While not being completely revolting, Borg Pilsner Lite just gets in line with all the other crappy "lite" lagers out there.
