COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"The great flavour from the small brewery." All beers from Borg are brewed solely on malts, hops, water and yeast - the way good beer has been brewed for centuries. Borg Pilsner is light and refreshing, and goes well with cured meat, light meat, fish or just as a thirstquencher.

Olav den hellige var Norges konge fra 1015 til 1028. Olav styrte fra Borg, n Sarpsborg, byen han selv grunnla i 1016. Det er fra denne byen Borg har brygget l av ypperste kvalitet og smak siden 1855.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2013 Not the best pilsner around, but its one of the cheapest here in Norway, and its easy to drink. If you want a cheap buzz, go for this one. :) Update: Cant remember this beer tasted this bad the last time I drank it. Must be something wrong with this batch. It cant be called a pilsner anymore, but water with a tiny tiny beer taste. Its awfull!

Duft av humle og malt. Klar gyllen farge. Tykt hvitt skum. Frisk litt syrllig smak. Helt greit drikke l i sommevarmen.

Draught in an Irish bar in Oslo. Clean gold with a short head, ok lacing. Grainy malt aroma, a little citrus and a dusty bitter finish. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Boks fra kiwi skjrhalden. Lys klar farge, medium karbonert. Lett bitter, veldig lettdrikkelig. Noe malt og gress. Litt sdme. Gansle tynn. Kjedelig norsk pils. Den gr ned da

DAA; Pours light golden with fading off-white head. Aroma is light, sweet malty, grainy and grassy. Taste much the same. Light body, thin texture and avarage carbonation. Some bitterness in a watery finish.

50cl can. Scents of barn, skunk, fart... okay it is hops. Airy head stands a while upon the bright straw yellow body. Tastes hops, grains, carbonation, water, and transfers towards sweet malts. There are also some wheat notes, but it should be imagination. The movement in taste from hops and grains towards malts is interesting. Ending is malts and some cardboard. Overall decent norwegian pilsner. During this ration Troms - Viking went from 2-3 to 4-3, which sent Sarpsborg team down. Borg beer is made in Sarpsborg.

0,33 l bottle, thanks Cunningham!
Poured clear straw with a small lacing white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma and flavor of sourish yeast, minimal malt, pour palate some unpleasant tired feeling. Not an undrinkable one but average, dull.
