Bottle from bottle shop in reykjavik. Very clear golden ale with hearty white head. Aroma is strong with hops, grassy and citrus. Taste is very bitter, dry and a bit salty too. Nice medium body with a bit of oil and measured carbonation. Very powerful ipa, they’ve definitly not scrimped on the hops.

Zarkam (516) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 16, 2015
330ml bottle from Gambrinus beer shop in Tartu, clear pale amber colour, medium frothy white head, good lacing. Moderately malty aroma of caramel and grain with heavy resiny and lemony hops with some spicy notes. Taste is initially slightly sweet and moderately acidic, turning into a longish heavily bitter finish with a heavily astrigent feel. Medium body, slick mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not an overly interesting aroma, pretty uninteresting for an IPA, refreshingly heavy bitterness however and not completely unbalanced.
