Bottle from the vinbud in Borganes, Iceland. Pours golden with a white head and good lacing that is fairly short lived. Aroma is citrus hops, lychee, pine, sort fruits like peaches and Melon. Slight hints of malt but almost entirely hidden. Very fresh smell. Flavour is strong bitter with a long after taste and moderate to strong carbonation.

Bottle at hotel in Reykjavik. Pours half a finger of head. Nose is citrus and a hint of yeast. Taste is clear and bitter, almost somewhere between ESB and IPA. A fresh and good IPA!

Straightforward hoppy beer. Nice citrus undernote followed by a crisp hoppy finish. Best IPA so far in Iceland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

badhack (315) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 15, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2014 Good attempt at a west coast ipa but top notch IPAs are a dime a dozen in California. But when in Iceland not really access to that stuff so it’ll do until then. Bitter, with some grapefruit hops and rind. Not bursting with flavor and no sugar or candy. Medium body.

Poured light orange with an off white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and soft malt. Medium body, flavour as the aroma, blood orange.

Bottle, at Laundromat Cafe, and a couple other spots along the journey. Medium orange body, off white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, mango skin and conifer. Hoppy palate, grapefruit, light pine, with underlying light caramel malts. Long bitter finish. Solid, tasty. I’m liking Borg beers consistently.

Bottle. Pours caramel in color with thin white head that dissipates. Hoppy evergreen aroma over mild carbonation. Decent hop and resin flavors with reasonable complexity. Easily the best non-American ipa I've ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
