COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at the brewpub. Quite malty and nicely roasted aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Stable and creamy light brown head. The flavour is nicely malty and creamy with some mild chocolate notes. There is also chocolate in the aftertaste. Semi-high carbonation, but a nice and pleasant beer. Really well-done beer.

Draft. A hazy dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of malt and bread. The flavor is acicid with notes of lemons, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish where notes of lemons and straw lingers. What is wrong here?

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge, tan and dense creamy head. Aroma is mild acidic and roasted malt. Fruity, mild citric to acidic. Dark chocolate like malt. Slight bitter, roasted and fruity acidic finish. Somewhat off but nice.

On tap. Orangey brown with a beige head. Some roasted malt in the nose, but overpowered by the sourness. Medium body, again a little roasted malt, slightly nutty but again the infected sourness dominates. Sad to see how good this beer was once. 190810

Unclear cloudy medium to dark brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark roasted, sweet chocolate, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and coffee & dusty malt bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20091029]
