Very French. Little taste, lots of bubbles. Makes for a good head, though at 8.5 oz, who cares? Henekien malt )or lack thereof) smell plus some nice lavender. Worth trying, though probably not much more.

A gold-coloured lager from the French province of Alsace. Malt, plus woody aromas of wet cardboard and hay. Flavour-wise, it’s missing that good balance between sweet and bitter that you look for in a classic lager; here the sweet side dominates too much. Boring mouthfeel and aftertaste. When thinking about Alsace, I’ll continue thinking about crisp white wine, not beer.

Coming in a cute little party favor sized bottle (8.5 oz.), this "pilsener" makes me glad that it came in a cute little party favor sized bottle. Golden in color with little of any head, the aroma is corn-sweet and grainy. The flavor wasn’t too bad, a little malt, a little hop. A little bottle. Thank you.

Tiny 8.5oz bottle. My half glass poured a clear golden color with a medium thick white head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is sometimes sweet, sometimes skunky. Light-bodied with very little flavor. Mild hops and sweet corn are about all. Actually the flavor was better than expected, in that it actually had a little. The finish is clean and relatively flavorless aside from a mild bitterness.

Maybe I can’t rate this one until I drink it before tasting any other beer. I tried it after drinking some darker beers and honestly tasted nothing. It was water to me with a slight effervescence and IPA smell. My friend liked it.

Slighly hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish white (cotton-looking) head. Aroma of PURE skunk, nothing good at all in this one! After getting past the skunk, some citrus and saison smells come out of it. Light-bodied; Sharp malt taste up front with a tiny bit of hops and a small amount of tart malt. Aftertaste shows a pale lager flavour with not much else. Palate is very dry and not sweet in the slightest bit. Overall, a bad beer, but not as bad as I was expecting! I’d actually rather take this than most big name crap beers like Amstel, Henie or any American product. I sampled this small 8.5 ounce bottle (that says ALE), purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 18-January-2005.

Light golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of lightly sweet malt. Light bodied with some malt flavor and a bit of a hop finish. Very average.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind very little lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained mild astringent notes. Its mouth feel is initially tingly and malty with a tinglyfinish. Its flavor contained malty grassy and astringent notes. A very average brew.
