Saverne Boris

Very odd small green bottle. Crystal clear yellow with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is none to pleasing, wet cardboard and maybe a little bit of grassy hops. The flavor is very much in tune with a typical euro-macro-lager (a la Heineken). Could be worse but not something to seek out.

Had this as a sample in Metro Joanette in Montreal. This was a typical crap macro pilsener clear blonde with not much in the way of head. Foul aroma. Very bitter and skunky odor and not very appetizing. Taste is malty with some decent hops in the finish. Smooth, and sort of creamy and fresh. The aroma was vile, but the rest of the beer was very forgettable. I knew I was in trouble when the rep said this was like Heineken abd Becks, but it was a lot better because it was actually brewed in France and not the states.

First off I'm glad this beer come in the small bottles that it does. It kind of reminds me of a Heineken Light just the fact that it has a bit of a skunky thing going on. Gold color with a quickly dissapating head and very low corbonation. The taste is clean however and the finish is a bit sweet.

This beer comes in a quaint little 8.5 oz green medicine bottle. That said, the aroma is 100% skunk. Clear yellow body with a big off-white head, very similar to the average American macro. Even though a dense head forms, the beer is relatively flat. Flavor is on the hoppy side, with earthy, spicy hops (although light). A touch of malt balances the hops. Not very good overall.

Cereal and eurpean hops in the nose of this surprisingly tasty pilsener. Cheesy little bottles, appeal to a generation that has taken control of its existence and future. Flavour is typical pilsener, with a bit of malt backing up some pleasant hoppy bitterness. Not too shabby.

skunked, clear light golden, decent white head. aroma is adjunct all the way(and i dont even know whether or not it is), flavor is compromised, skunky, slightly buttery..hops barely perceptible.

Some cereal malt and herbal hops on the nose. Clear golden body with dense white head that diminishes slowly for style. Very well balanced malt and fine crisp bitterness. Mouthfeel not very lively. Despite the cute bottle this is actually a fairly decent offering. Bottle (green).

Clear yellow with a head resembling dish soap. Aroma is a metallic lemon lageresque experience. Empty of flavor beyong a slight lemon and paper flavor. Fizzy, but with correct body for a pilsener. Finish is stale and metallic. Not offensive, but plain and empty.
