3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sinkhole (258) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 11, 2006
Light golden yellow pour with minimal white head. Aromas of hops with a hint of floral scents. Flavour is clean and crisp hopiness, with more of a fruit than floral taste. A very plesant surprise worth checking out.

This french stubby pours a light golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lightly sweet malt. Light bodied with some malt flavour and a touch of a hop finish.

Bottle: Poured a very pale yellow color beer with a standard white foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma is totally skunked which is not a surprise considering they still insist on importing green bottle over the pond. Taste is also dominated by the skunked aroma. Body is totally watery and incredibly thin. More bad then boring.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Trev (1424) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - APR 24, 2006
Pale yellow with a light frothy white head that left slight lacing.
Aroma was thin and grainy with a light sweetness.
Flavour was also a bit thin for me. Clean pale lager flavour, with a dry almost tart bitterness in the finish.
Fairly unremarkable in my opinion.

Little bottle pours a pale golden colour with a foamy head. Perhaps due to the car ride home. It disappeared fast. The aroma is pleasant though it lacks anything memorable. Flavour might be excellent if it weren’t so subdued.

Had this one bottled. Pretty good, it’s got a slightly sour taste but the nose is flowery and finishes clean.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2006 Against the grain here! Drnk_McDermott nailed this one. Slightly odd ruddy color: put me in the mind of a malt liquor perhaps. Tastes like a light, lightly carbonated lager, without the corn that others have noted. The fruit Drnk_ noticed, which he called cherries, was actually a slight hint of apples, cider, or even calvados. Definitely a European hoppiness, in the traditional pilsener vein. And, yes, a dry champagne finish. Went well with my seared tuna salad. And, by the way, I very seldom agree so completely with a previous rater!

8.5 oz bottle at Fresh Starts, Flossmoor (across from Flossmoor Station). Dated "08:05." I couldn’t help but find myself liking this. It was poured in a small, narrow Lindemand glass, presenting a slightly ruddy lager color and a thin head leaving rings behind. Taste is of the expected light lager, without the corn other rathers have mentioned. Slightly fruity background, perhaps of cherry, then a definite Euro-hop component, ending with a slgiht champage flourish.
