Poured a dark brown with a large off-white foamy head. Aroma of yeast and caramel malts with some sweetness. Taste is of caramel toffee and chocolate. Some bitterness in the finish. Overall slightly creamy with a little yeast. This beer is very well balanced.

Home tasting from a specialty six pack of six different belgium style beers. I was pretty impressed with this full flavored bad boy, the first of the six I tried. Dark brown/amber pour with a very nice head that stuck around for a while and left good lacing. Creamy, malty body with a nice even carbonation and a little bit of a hopped finish to accompany the sweet, full bodied beer that real lent well to the experience.

Bottle 33 cl from Boissons Center in Montagny-sur-Yverdon (CH). Brown-red, foam cream quite persistent. Nose of malt and toffy, touches of licorice, chocolate and alcohol. In the mouth, it appears at first soft and then evolves to more bitterness. Caramel is on the menu, with coffee and chocolate. Still fairly mild, with flavors of mareira on sweetness of alcohol (7%)

Brown with a fragmented head. Fruity aroma with further notes of spice and yeast. The flavour is strangely dishamonic ranging from very sweet, almost cloying, to sour. Seems infected ...
