Received from DeGarth, Thanks Joe! XL, tight beaded tan head, excellent retention with minimal lacing. Clarity is good, chestnut colored. Nose is pleasently fruity, raisiny, bananna and a light yeastiness. Body is medium, soft mouthfeel. Lightly sweet malts, bready, dark fruit flavors, plum, raisin with a touch of doughyness. Finish is almost dry and fruity.

Poured reddish brown, like chestnut, with a huge frothy head that last forever. A bit sweet and yeasty aroma, sweet flavor, some bitter and metallic finish, but the mouth is too thin, watery.

Dark brown with a big foamy head. Aroma is pleasant but subtle. Flavour is malty spicy but not too interesting.

bottle-pours a hazy brown hue with a sudsy beige head. a considerable amount of funky yeast here in this beer. nice notes of cinammon, clove and dark fruits. this is much better than the tripple. lots of nice red apple flavors with some notes of grape skins as well. as for thie trippel, this beer is not over-carbonated like some people have stated. i would say this is a solid dubbel.

A sweet-carmal smelling beer, with a nice brown body and full head. The head isn’t too great at all, and the first impression is that beer is too thin, but if fills out acceptably. A little metallism semms to linger, leaving this a below average belgian but an okay beer.

330 ml bottle. Bronze colour with a big fully lasting, creamy, and rocky tan head. Fruity, spicy, yeasty, and dusty aroma. Fruity and tart flavours with a leathery, dry, dusty finish and a background acidity throughout. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Dark amber color with large frothy head that diminished slowly. Full sweet fruity aroma. Medium to full body with smooth texture. Full malt, fruit and spice flavor with a moderate bitter alcohol bite at the finish.
