Dark brown color with a medium head. Malty aroma and taste with hints of fruit and hops. Not much to it and kind of bland.

Brownish Coloring. Good Head. Fruity. I have to say I prefer the Tripel over the Dubbel....Average

Cloudy dark oragnge with great head and lacing. The nose is of sweet malt, figs, and some musty kind of smell. Some fruity and nutty notes in taste. Thin body with a watery finish.

Pours a dark brown, nice head, but it quickly recedes, leaving some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is mostly sweetness, some dark fruits. Pretty standard dubbel, the alcohol is a little too noticeable for my liking, however.

Aroma to me was prunes and malt. Hazy ugly brown with a head made from big bubbles. Green apple with sherbert flavouring with an odd mix of malt (thanks Lunkie for helping me identifing the sherbert). Massively bubbly which detracted for me.

Hoppy malty aroma with murkey born colour. Explosion of nothing flavour and fizzy sherbert palate. Not sure how the Monks could fast on this for 40 days.

Nice large creamy off white head that is fully lasting. Clear med-dark red-orange body. Sugary fruit aroma. Raspberry, cherry, strawberry perhaps. Bitter sweet dark fruit. Prune, medicinal cherry, grape. Sort of an earthy sourness. Soft palate. Not bad.

Hum, this is beer, and right now, I want beer, so it fills my current requirements. Other then being beer, it’s nothing special.

Could not taste the strong alcohol but was in aroma. Sweet spices, alcohol, and effervesent carbination malt combination didn’t strike me or my mates bang on. Tart. Lovely head. Dry and unsatisfying aftertaste.

This exploded out of the bottle. Cloudy reddish brown with a massive head. A yeasty and salty aroma is contrasted by a very fruity malt accented taste. It is very different for a dubbel but there was too much fizz which detracted from the experience.
