Nice amber color. Some fruity nose. Sweet mouthfeel and a nice bitter aftertaste. Ugly label...Very drinkable despite of the 8%

Dark amber color; overcarbonated; giant head. Malt aroma, roasted barley, caramel, nuts, some old hops; carbonic; white sugar. Quite round, malty; caramel; maybe not enough structured, and too sweet at the end (indeed, missing some hop).

So smooth... This ale has got the longest lastind lace I have ever seen. The head rapidly diminishes to a creamy lace that lasts forever. Very soft on the palate, decievingly masking the alcohol. Quite good.

Decent Belgian dubbel with a fruity (orange?) aroma and flavour. The fruits are less ’heavy’ than in e.g. Westmalle Dubbel, and Bornem is clearly inferior. The finish is nice and hoppy.

A dark, amber brown body with a huge, booming head. The head drops slowly until it’s a chunky spread of foam over the beer. The aroma is rich, lots of lemon, browning bananas, caramel and cream. The flavor is sweet and hides the alcohol well. There’s kidn of a candi sugar flavor in there as well.

Dark ruby brown clear with huge creamy tan head. Caramel malt, light fruity hops and faint chickenyard yeast aromas. Big chewy yeasty and bitter start. A better balanced middle as the sweet kicks in continuing to a sweetish lifting finish.

This beer poured a nice reddish amber color and formed an light tan bubbly head that left circular lace as it subsided. A medium amount of carbonation was present. An aroma of malt, caramel and cherries. A flavor of malt, caramel and raisins. A touch of the alcohol was present in the finish. A rather interesting flavor for a dubbel.

Chocolate, a bit of a sour aroma and sweetness. Palate is well carbonated, smooth, rich, sweet, alcoholic and very enjoyable. Finish is sticky sweet with a tiny bit of bitterness and stays with you. Very nice.
