Golden shining and soft feeling in the mouth - perfectly balanced taste - full body and heart warming, a splendid aroma, tickling in the nose - hoppy dry long finish.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2010 Bottle at home. Pours out golden coloured. Nice big white head that seems to hold and hold,... Sweet-hoppy aroma, not bad. Same with the taste, spices comes up, but a bit to sweet I think. Not a bad beer, like it more then the double, but seems a bit unbalanced.

Bottle 33cl. Amber beer with huge head. Typical triple beer very astringent and low body, not very intresting.

Ok this 9% Triple smells like gluey sweet flabby yeast esters ,after a homeless drunk has burped over the beer. I’m scoring it a 7 cause its actually more interesting than it sounds. Very alcoholic .
Isnt the brewing skill in using some Alchemy to obscure boozeiness ? . apple esters..hay stacks..ceral grains..spice ..flabby sweetness ...all in a stream that bores me but i keep sipping cause i’m a drunk. But a nice drunk.

Gregis (1250) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - MAY 24, 2010
Pours a cloudy, muddy amber with a loose, pitted, dingy beige head; not a pretty beer. The nose is of lightly tart apples, powdered sugar and faint alcohol. Medium-bodied and softly effervescent with a moderately astringent, drying finish. The flavor is of apple and white pepper with a mild alcohol and apple skin quality at the finish. It’s a decent beer, but after recently sampling Tripel Karmeliet I was left wanting much more.

Bottled. Yellow with white head. Aroma is spicy, fruity yeasty banana, and booze. Flavor is hop sweetness and some sugar but ends dry hoppy and very long.

Pours cloudy yellow/orange with a thick bubbly white head. Very carbonated and leaves behind nice lacing when the head subsides a little. Aroma is mostly of hops and spices with a slight bit of alcohol and a tad of fruits. Taste is very heavy on the hops with alcohol present throughout and a bitter finish.
