Feb 14, 2008 Bottle. Metallic aroma. Golden colour, lively white head. Excited beer, hops. Dry beer with a tangy finish. Could be enjoyable in the summer but not my favourite.

Feb 14, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020208)

Feb 13, 2008 [Bottle, 2005 vintage] Hazy amber with huge white head. Sweet fruity aroma with yeasty notes. Sweet and spicy flavor with dominant alcohol and overripe fruit notes.

Feb 6, 2008 Updated: Sep 21, 2008RE-RATE: Bottle (330ml). Poured muddy orangey yellow with a huge, bubbly, head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of pears with grassy hops, lemon zest, cinnamon, white pepper, cloves, bread malts and some light notes of dried banana. Flavor was very peppery with a decent hop bitterness, dry pears, green apples, tangy lemon zest, bready malts, coriander and a warming finish. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation, a somewhat syrupy texture, dry mouthfeel and a good finish.

Jan 29, 2008 Bottle from 6 pack Belgian sampler. Poured golden yellow with white head. Yeasty aroma. Malty and hoppy flavor but nothing exciting, average at best. Seemed overly carbonated. Not one I would try again.

Jan 28, 2008 Bottle. Plenty of sweet candied malt on the nose. Some dusty yeast and spice as well. Pours full gold with a thick white head. Decent balance of candy malt and dry yeast on the tongue. Some odd tobacco and leather notes as well. Medium bodied with too much carbonation. Finishes with a blast of yeasty dryness.

Jan 19, 2008 Hazy yellow colour, big white head. Aroma has yeast and spices. Flavour is yeasty and hoppy. Lots of carbonation. Not very special.

Jan 16, 2008 Spicey aroma from a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Spicey flavor with some light fruit notes and malt flavors. Light mouth feell with high carbonation. I like it but there are much better tripples. I like it but don’t love it.
