Aroma’s a bit fruity, a bit spicy, a bit yeasty. Flavor is definitely like an intensified green apple - quite sweet, with a good amount of tartness accompanying. Somewhat like white wine, also, but definitely stronger flavors. This beer doesn’t hide its 9% particularly well - I would’ve guessed a bit higher, actually. An interesting beer, not the best tripel I’ve had, though - it’s a little sweet for me. malrubius (977), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Spicy honey lemon with yeast white wine and green apple. White wine and honey and spicy hoppy mildy green apple finish. Decent soft mouthfeel and nice carbonation. Better than some other higher rated tripels (IMHO). DigitalMan (113), Idaho, USA

Flavor has some tripel-type spiciness, but also somewhat of a muted/muddled character. Nice carbonation feel; not a fizz-bomb. kevd193213 (486), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 ENORMOUS head; nose is fruity and strong alcohol, which flows into the flavor. This beer grew on me as I drank, and the hops linger almost as a bitter/dry feeling rather than an obvious taste... complex! cgarvieuk (4171), Edinburgh, Scotland

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Poured a pale orange with a sticky white large head. Phenolic, cantaloupe, and a bit of pepper to the aroma. Citric, sweet, a bit off-putting in the carbonation department. JaBier (1200), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Bottle sampled at the Belgian tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 7/17/09. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a huge off-white head. Citrusy and tart aroma that I don’t think was intended along with some sweet malt. Might be a little infected. Grape and lemon flavor up front with some sugar and booze in the finish.
