Small bottle. Cloudy yellow Tripel body with a foamy head. Sweet yeasty aroma with lemon cookies. Nice carbonation, taste seems to have all the right Abbey Tripel elements but the finish becomes a bit soapy and doesnít feel crisp enough.

BB 30.09.2015, 0.33L bottle from Van Steenberge Sampler Pack. Pours slightly hazy golden with nice white head. The head stays for a long time. Decent lacing. Aroma is fruits, plums, yeast, dryness, banana. Taste: sweet, fruity, sourness, some spices, strong alcohol. Finish is fruity bitter with strong alcohol. Lively carbonation. Overall: I like that itís not too sweet like many triples. But the alcohol is too strong, it kills everything subtle.

drank when i worked at the dodentocht ( in the village this was named after) . theyíre realy proud of this one there! ( and the brown, too, but back than i drank only blond beer ) . should they be ? wel , i remember it being just that hint better than the oh-so-inspirationless , huge group of belgian blonde beers. so iíll rate it 0,1 better than these. but thats just it. not that memorable, not worth searching for ( when you live in belgium) . meh

Superb triple. Massive burst of alcohol, spices, fruit and hops. Not too sweet. Bottled conditioned to perfection, crystal clear and not too fizzy.

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Big fluffy cloud of white foam over a bright golden coloured beer. Fruit, spice and alcohol in the aroma. Another very good belgian beer.

750 ml bottle from Market Basket. Chalice shows a perfect display of hazy gold with a lasting cap of white head. Smell of fruity yeast, bread, some spice and sugar. Taste is big with tropical fruit peach, mango and star fruit. Floral citrus notes provide some bitterness. Some sharp local flavor which is odd to me since Iíve had this bottle at least 9 months. Drying texture. For a largely available Belgian triple, its pretty good.

Sampled from bottle @ home. Because I read an article about the beer being an alias of another beer from Van Steenberge I didnít want to rate it. I sent in feedback with a link to the aforementioned article expecting the beer to be aliased. Since this has not happened even though itís been quite some time now I have decided to rate it anyway. Iíll be brief though. Clear golden color, slightly fruity. Meh.

Golden color with white head. Smell malts and something I donít like but donít know what it is. Taste is hard to tell, too much carbonation masks it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml. bottle. Pours a very thick well retained white head, with extensive lacing, over a hazy, dark yellow (SRM 4) body......nose cereal, biscuit from the malts, minimal hop tones, pepper, light clove from the esters.....taste hints of cereal, light sweetness, from the malts, light hop bitterness, hints of lemon, orange, from the esters, phenolics yield clove with peppery tones, finishing, lightly bitter......mouth feel medium, alcohol warmth present, carbonation adds spicy tingle, and a clean finish. This falls well within the style, with the flaws being the hazy body, the lack of effervescence and the sheer simplicity of it overall. BJCP 7/2/13/5/6

Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head keeping a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma is sweety, yeasty and fruity, notes of apricot, caramel and banana. Flavor is the same as aroma with some citrus and alcohol hints. Medium body and carboantion wih a spicy finish.
