3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A decent triple. No burn whatsoever. More of a metallic taste than i like though. Overpriced - New Belgium triple is far better.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle poured into signature chalice glass @ Belgian Beer Cafe "Oostende", Adelaide. Translucent gold body with small but persistent white head and scanty lace. Nose is honey sweet malts mainly with notes of bready yeasts and peppery spices. Taste is similar to the nose with a slick palate, dry aftertaste and medium-full body. Good Tripel.

Aroma de Pilsen, Espuma de Pilsen, cor de Pilsen. Sabor Pilsen com Tripel. Não é desagradável, contudo quando lemos Tripel, esperamos uma Tripel. E só.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 ml. bottle from a local liquor store. Pours clear gold with a decent soapy head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is apricot, plum, hard candy, grain, floral, earthy, and basement funk. This has some complex fruitiness and some aggressive, dry bitterness in the mix to balance the sweetness. It’s a nice Belgian triple but nothing to really distinguish it from the pack. Medium body, soft, creamy texture, lively carbonation, and dry, bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden color. Smells of malts, fruits, and some spices. Taste covers the high alcohol well with fruits and some spices.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Clear golden with a good but a bit bubbly white head but with a good retention, leaving some nice lacing
Aroma: malts, spices, yeast and fruit (Bananan, plums and bit of lemon)
Taste: Typical Belgian triple, Some sweetness, some bitterness and yes this one shows a bit of the alcohol comming through.
Medium body, average carbonation.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Rating due to possible bad bottle. Sour, musty aroma, head dissipates to nothing quickly. Will like to rate again. This one’s a drain pour.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A really enjoyable strong ale, my bottle indicated 9.5% not 9 as stated above. High alcohol content is disguised by a beautifully smooth taste which leaves no residue, uncommon for beers of this strength. By no means a session beer but certainly one to look out for next time your in Belgium or at a Belgian beer festival.
