Golden shining and soft feeling in the mouth - perfectly balanced taste - full body and heart warming, a splendid aroma, tickling in the nose - hoppy dry long finish.

Part of a variety pack. This is an amazing beer to me. How can something have so little flavor. It is like drinking the lightest beer, except with bad aftertaste. Easy to drink, and drink, even with the relatively high alcohol. This would be good to serve to friends who have never tried this type of beer and are just ’’putting their toe in the water.’’

Aroma of mixed fermented fruits such as pears, bananas, and oranges. Rather earthy with a musty quality. Cloudy, golden-orange color, huge rocky head, and heavy lacing. Airy, sweet mouthfeel lending to a light creaminess. This is one of the easiest drinking Tripels I can recall. Sweet and yeasty flavors along with a nice vibrant fruitiness. Does come across as a tad watered down. Grassy with a fading/faint bitterness.

Poured from the bottle into a snifter. Pours a light, see through yellow color with a big cloudy head. A pretty decent looking tripel. The taste has some citrus - lemon to me - and the alcohol shines through. It finished sweet but very smooth.

Draught at EBF 2008. Poured a slightly yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma of bananas and alcohol. The flavor was yeast, honey and light fruits with a spicy and slight hop aftertaste.

Very light yellow color with a thin head that suprisingly stays around for a while. Aroma of molasses and corn syrup, very sweet with a hint of yeast. Tastes rather dull, seems to be missing something. From the aroma I expected it to be sweeter but tastes of bread and alcohol, finishes very bitter. Kind of thin in the mouth, very carbonated, a little bit to much. Not bad but not great.

Pours a hazy gold with one finger of persistent beige head and good lacing. Fruity aroma, taste of fruit (plum, orange) and alcohol. Nice flavor, good palate. Would buy again.

Bottled (as Maerlant Damse Tripel), thanks KimJohansen! Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of honey and vegetables. Sweet and fruity, boldly malty and overcarbonated. An aggressivevegetable flavour ruins it completely, and it followed up by a harsh resiny bitterness.
