Drink4Satan (585), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Apr 15, 2007 Looks like a wit in my trappist glass. There are a lot of particulates to noticed. Smells like a white sangrea. Very fruity, spicy and alcoholic nose. The taste is equally alcoholic, but not as fruity as the scent. It’s very yeasty and acidic with a decent amount of clove and other spices. As many other belgians, the carbonation is just brutal, yet the mouthfeel is still somewhat smooth, especially in the finish. The finish is long, and certainly dry. This is mediocre triple that I wouldn’t go out of my way to get. And there is no lacing at all. emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Apr 15, 2007 This beer pours an alright head and it has a really potent fruity and boozy smell to it. There is a nice golden color with some yeast particles in it. I taste a hint of some fruit mainly and there is some strong carbonation to it. There is also the sweet golden taste. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA Apr 14, 2007 Banana and spices. Hazy golden brown in color. Medium palate with plenty of carbonation. Taste is lots of belgian yeast and caramel malt with some banana and light spices. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 13, 2007 33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Clear gold colour with thick white head. Slightly cereally alcoholic tripel. Decent hop on finish. Alcohol is a little syrupy. Bit dull. BustedFlat (552), Edina, Minnesota, USA Apr 12, 2007 Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip glass, cloudy golden with a lot of floaters and a small white head. Aroma was faint with a hint of perhaps apple. Taste was of sour apples with a big alcohol bite. Slight bitterness. Not for me. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Apr 9, 2007 Light malt, yeast and a mild sourness stands out in the aroma.Pours a hazy light gold with a medium white head.Lots of spices and yeast in the flavors.Mouthfeel is very thin with lots of yeast in the finish. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA Apr 5, 2007 Stubby bottle, pours bright pale yellow gold like a pale ale or lager with a lot of very white bubbles, resembled Duvel but not quite as gold, faint yeast and citrus sour scent with a flower bouquet, faint wood fruit scents, tart on the tongue, lots of carbonation in the mouth, sour taste with pale malt flavor and faint sweetness, light on the palate, lemon and faint lemon peel flavors, some pilsner malt taste, dry on the palate, this ale is a dry tart drink, pouring the sediment in added a bread taste to the beer, I found the alcohol well hidden in the nose and mouth but it revealed itself in the mouth as it warmed up. joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Apr 3, 2007 straw color with a thin appearing body and a quickly disappearing head. not the most attractive looking triple. flavor is better than the appearanc. a wheaty sweetness that doesn’t finish with a great flavor. pretty good
