| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2006 The aroma was a yeasty outdoor, farmland smell. The head was fizzy and white in color with a good lacing. The body was cloudy and yellow in hue. The initial flavor was sweet and the finish was a light to moderate acidic with an average finish. The body was medium and the texture was creamy. The carbonation was lively. harmfuldrunk (288), New Jersey, USA

I got some lemon aroma, and the taste is like lemon, mustard, paprika, and grapefruit. Very sour finish but a wheat-y flavor helps tone it down a bit. Like a lemonhead rolled in wheat. dkoonce (883), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Pours a really light yellow color. Cloudy with lots of carb and a big fluffy white head. Spicy and yeasty scent. Flavor is very spicey with that Belgian malt flavor and a dry aftertaste. Nothing special here. Maddog (235), Kettering, Ohio, USA

This tripel pours a clear yellow with the usual super active white head. The flavor is light oak, light yeast and a touch of the alcohol presence and burn. Nothing special here, maybe a beginner’s tripel.
