Pours a bright gold with a slightly hazy body. The nose is unbalanced with alcohol right off the bat then subtle citrus zest and pungent spice notes. Well carbonated with a medium body. Light caramel malt with overbearing spiced notes of coriander and clove. A bit of a mash up. Overall, good but not great.

330 ml bottle into chalice, N29ID bottle code. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a small foamy off white head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing very quickly. Minimal glass lacing and some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with solid complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, orange, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, clove, pepper, honey, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness and solid complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with a good malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a pretty solid tripel style. All around solid complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Very nice flavours for a double. A good, subtle alcohol heat balanced with a zesty spice level. I really did not care for the carbonation though. Very bubbly almost like a champagne which detracted a lot from the quality.

From a bomber bought from market vendor, poured in a hotel wine glass. Pours cloudy gold. Small frothy head with weak lacing. Flavor is bright and striking somewhat acidic. Flavor softens and becomes more bready. Soft sweet pound cake finish.

huge frothy white head. excellent lacing. mostly diminishing. translucent thick dark yellow . aroma: light hoppy, flowers, orange, pear, white wine, alcohol. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, heavy alcoholic. 140 s

Transfer from BA review on 2-10-14- Poured from bottle into a chalice glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy light orange-amber color with a huge and thick foamy white head. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading to leave a great level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the brew is a quite delicious, consisting of a heavy sweet aroma of banana, orange, apple, and bubblegum. Along with this smells comes a yeast cake aroma mixed with spices of clove and coriander. A light grassy and hay aroma are there as well with a light alcohol booziness giving a very nice and sweet triple smell. Taste – The taste begins with a bready and slightly sweet flavor with flavors of apple, pear, and orange. A yeasty flavor is present upfront with it remaining a base taste throughout the flavor profile. The bready flavor transitions to a more cracker like flavor as the taste moves on, with the sweeter flavors dwindling from the start to the middle of the taste. While the sweet dwindle some, they make a resurgence toward the end being joined by some bubblegum sweetness. All while this occurs, some light spice flavors of coriander and clove come to the tongue. Other flavors comes as well around this time with a moderate booziness as well as some grassy and astringent flavors coming to the tongue. The astringent get moderately intense at the end, mixing with the now sweet, crackery and spiced flavor to leave a somewhat odd triple flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average to slightly thicker side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side and is composed of lots of lighter/tiny carbonation bubbles. While a slightly thinner body may have been a bit more complementing of the mix of sweet, astringent, and spice, the higher carbonation was rather good for the flavor profile helping make a decent feel overall. Overall – A little too much astringentness and an odd mix of cracker and sweet at the end of the taste. Overall an alright drinking brew however and at least worth giving a try to.
