Sweet spiced malt with coriander notes, a rather light triple, without much character. Enjoyed at YEHa!05 Christmas Party on Dec. 17th, 2005. Goldorak (439), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2005 Champagne-like yellow golden, complete with minuscule efferverscent bubbles.
Lots of complex alcohols, solvent, fusel, gasoline...and apricots macerated in gin. With my eyes blindfolded, you could have told me this stuff is used to fuel racecars and I wouldn’t call bullshit on you.
Light in body but high in octane. I’ve never actually drank paint thinner before, but I have a feeling it woulod be similar to this. Maybe this style didn’t do it for me, but I thought it was a little unidimentional. You got to bring something else than just moonshine if you want to get me to like a tripel. beerbuzzmontreal (2911), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The flavor has the same elements of pepper, yeast and lemon. The palate is light and dry. This a competent if not exciting tripel. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 13, 2005 Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, citrus. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but this stuff sucked. Had it for a tasting with 4 friends and all of us agreed. Drain pour! | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2005 Bottle (330ml). Beer of Belgium Gift pack 2of6. Poured slightly hazy light gold with a very large bright white soapy/foamy lasting head, some lacing left behind. Aroma of coriander, black pepper, apple, mild caramel malt, muted alcohol - pretty standard mild triple. Taste is sharply alcoholic, slightly stale and sour apple, a hint of lemon juice, the coriander’s there as well as the standard beldian wit-ashiness I always get. Mouthfeel is a touch watery, lively and sugary. Drinkable and forgettable. mrnutsnbolts (204), Berkeley, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 28, 2005 Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a HUGE white head. I poured it a while ago, but it’s still settling. Tons of carbonation, smells slightly vinous, like cider, and alcohol. Tastes like sour apple cider. Fairly dry, not sweet like other triple’s I’ve tasted. I’m not feeling too fond of this, perhaps I’ll revisit it later.
