dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 5, 2005 Nice lifting citrus aroma; about as nice in appearance as a pee-yellow beer can be. The belgian spices are at first light but become moer noticeable. This is a Belgian that can be drank rapidly. Quite nice, and much better than the double. Tmoney99 (4659), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 1, 2005 Bottle. Dark gold color with moderate white head that diminished slowly. Moderate aroma of fruit and spice. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Complex flavor like the aroma with a moderate swwet finish with a small alcohol bite. Average brew for style. SSSteve (2047), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 25, 2005 fruit, candy, and alcohol aroma. gold color with huge foamy head. very carbonated. good lacing. sweet with alcohol taste. good hoppy finish. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 25, 2005 330 ml bottle. Yellow golden colour with a fully lasting creamy white head. Yeasty, mango, pepper, pineapple, and dusty aroma. Fruity, peppery, spicy, and apple flavours with a fruity and light alcohol bitter finish. Full bodied, almost juicy mouthfeel. Almost like a more straightforward Duvel. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA Aug 24, 2005 bottle-pours a clear golden hue with a few chunks of yeast settling in there as well. a fizzy white head that was long lasting. lots of carbonation. ferfumy aroma of spicy yeast, hops, light grapes-green. flavors are really hot and very off-balanced-lots of fruits-peaches, somecitrus and grapes. light banana in there as well. phenolic and astringent. fizzy palate-i dont care for this! axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 22, 2005 Pours straw yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is fresh lemons and yeast. Flavor is very resiny with a little barnyard, pepper, and yeast. Not at all what I had expected from the aroma. Definately different than any other triple I’ve ever had. nick76 (2636), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 7, 2005 The aroma is very fruity. The appearance is a hazy blond. The flavor has citrus, apple, with lots of malt and yeast. The finish is a lot like a white wine but with a hint of grass. This is not like any Belgian Triple I have had, but in a good way. Dextolen (151), Michigan, USA Aug 6, 2005 Part of the globalbeernetwork Belgian 6-pack. Poured a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Bready, spicy aroma. Flavors lean more to a Whit to me. Corriander, citrus undertones, yeasty and hoppy. Pleasant astringincy to the mouthfeel. All in all very light for a tripel, but still good.
