Bottle conditioned.
Golden shining and soft feeling in the mouth - perfectly balanced taste - full body and heart warming, a splendid aroma, tickling in the nose - hoppy dry long finish.

pours light yellow with huge fluffy white head, smells sweet with strong alchohol ... taste alot better than the dubbel. Sweet with alot of malt flavor. I’d drink again

After tasting the dubbel I didn’t have high hopes for this one. It poured a huge white fluffy head on top of a clear golden coloured body, with lively streams of carbonation all around. The nose was very faint, just some hints of dust and white wine. The taste was... well, better than the other two beers I’ve had before that one. Niceish maltiness that turns to a dull, slightly acidic end, a bit grainy, somewhat fruity, a faint touch of sulphur, quite tingly on the tongue, crude hoppy aftertaste and all in all, a substandard tripel.

330ml bottle - pours hazy yellow/orange with a bone white head. This is very fizzy, you can see it in the head - highly carbonated. Too carbonated. Aroma of bananas and yeast, and alcohol (unfortunately). The taste is ripe fruit, citrus, yeast, and the alcohol is definitely there - not nearly as well hidden as say, the Chimay Triple. The biggest problem with this beer is the carbonation. It’s almost like a soda pop it’s so heavily carbonated and there is hardly any creaminess...very thin in the mouth. Needs to be thicker. Leaves a lingering after taste of alcohol and the finish is actually quite sour and astringent. This could be so much better were it creamier and less fizzy. It’s certainly not bad, but as it stands it’s actually quite dissatisfying for an Abbey Triple considering what else is out there.

Bottle. Cloudy, with a color that’s stumping me--- basically a dirty light brownish orange yellow amber. White and foamy saliva-like head quickly disappears leaving no lacing whatsoever. Aroma of cantaloupe, butter cookie, banana, citrus, vanilla and spice. Complex flavor of biscuit malts, lemon, banana, honey, orange zest, herbs and musty yeast, with some alcohol sprouting up now and then. However, palate was too thin and soda-like to fully support the flavor profile. A more buttery texture would make this great. All in all, for a real Belgian Tripel this leaves me unsatisfied.

bottle unknown year? Good aroma with a very cloudy look and decent head that stays. Flavor is good with a crisp flavor and lite alcohol taste. Good after taste. Good Tripel.

Frothy white head, one finger width with pure gold colored carbonated body. Sweet corn and yeast alcoholic aroma. Flavor of corn, pear and barley malt with definite alcohol presence for a very dry finish. Mouthfeel was permeated by the alcoholic bite throughout the beer’s consumption. This beer’s personality would be accurately described thus: Too proud for an abbey trippel... A little more modesty please.

Great pear aroma, on a whatever yellow beer with a big white head. Taste is sweet and a bit astringent. $3/11.2oz
