Bottle conditioned.
Golden shining and soft feeling in the mouth - perfectly balanced taste - full body and heart warming, a splendid aroma, tickling in the nose - hoppy dry long finish.

It was fresh, clean, and quenching. It really tasted like a sweet beer met a dry champagne. However, there is not a hell of alot of flavor here to discuss, but sometimes that’s ok.

Nose of spice apple and some tartness. Slightly hazy gold with a small, fizzy, white head. Flavor is of sour apples with a hint of rears.

Sweet yeast smell, some green apple. Nice look, good lacing, golden, frothy head. Hits green apple, tart, then goes sweet and yeast, mild finish. Medium body. Alright beer, not great though.

Can’t believe that I havn’t rated this yet. I got this from Zathrus13 AKA Jeff friday A middle of the road tripel with a shitload of carbonation, Not a bad brew but the spice/fruity nose and taste were just mild enough to make me have to work hard to enjoy it.

On tap at the Sharp Edge, Pgh, PA. Hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aroma is a musty fruity wine. Smells a little bit like a cork from a wine bottle that has been sitting in the cellar a bit too long. The flavor is musty yet crisp, tastes a little bit like a pear wine, but is still a beer.

Pours a lightly hazy golden white with a small foamy white head that sustained and left some lacing. Aroma of green apple, yeast, banana, cantoloupe and Belgian spices. Flavor was very much along the same lines as the aroma with more yeast and apple cider.

Yellow murky body with white substantially large head (from the bottle), which is characteristic of the tripels I’ve tried. Very citrus-y smell, but not overly strong. Taste is strongly influenced by alcohol (which is odd, since the double has only 1% less abv, and you can hardly even tell it’s there. Some fruity (citrus?) and malt and yeast influence. Not the best Trippel I’ve had. Try their double instead. Fortunately this was ony a little more than 3$ to try (11.2 oz bottle), or do yourself a favor and try a Unibroue or Allagash.
