Very sweet flavour with lots of mature fruitiness and some raisins. Earlier Rating: 7/14/2002 Total Score: 2.6 I became very dissapointed. I enjoy Bornem Dubbel very much, so I thought that their Trippel would be great as well. But no... Faint aroma and not very complex taste. It tastes a little hoppy and very alcoholic. I had it on draught. iam (369), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

High carbonation does not take away from the sweetness. Quite sweet and spicy and I can taste those bananas. Taste gives way to a nice warm finish. Toward the end of the bottle however I’m starting to notice the sourness.
