Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 27, 2002 A light yellow beer with a great head - a very nice fruity aroma. The flavor is distinct with the alcohol content. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 23, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a huge head. Dry, slightly spice with a lot of alcohol. Another decent if not very interesting beer from Bios. 040494 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 18, 2008 Bottled (as Maerlant Damse Tripel), thanks KimJohansen! Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of honey and vegetables. Sweet and fruity, boldly malty and overcarbonated. An aggressivevegetable flavour ruins it completely, and it followed up by a harsh resiny bitterness. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to light orange with a huge white head. Aroma is slight grassy, spiced yeasty. Flavour is not as sweet as other triples which is a nice thing. A more sharp spice note appears in this one, but also seems a bi grassy towards hoppy. Somewhat undefineable triple but nice spiced and dry. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Feb 14, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020208) oh6gdx (8801), Vasa, Finland Sep 9, 2005 Draught. Hazy yellow colour, huge white foamy head. Strong aroma of lemon and yeast. Smooth flavour of citric fruit along with biting hops. Some yeast also noteable. Pleasant. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jul 17, 2005 Bottle. Aroma is very much like sweet white wine. Hazy golden colour, small unstable white head. Fruity flavour, nicely peppery and freshly citric. Tastes a little oxidized. Full mouthfeel. High carbonation. Not as bitter and harsh as many tripels. Nice for a tripel, but I think I would prefer it fresh (3 months past BB date). Earlier Rating: 12/16/2004 Total Score: 2.9 1997 bottle. Light yellow colour. Big, very stable head. Citrusy aroma. Mild maltiness. Alcohol flavour not that prominent. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2005 Bottled. Clear yellow colour with a huge white head.
