Pours hazy amber-golden color with a huge fluffy white head that diminished slowly and left nice lacing. Aroma is lovely, all fruits, yeast and spice in the tripel style. Flavor begins with the sweet, fruity malts, yeast and spice flavors kick in next, then an unexpected strong tartness with a long bitter and slightly metallic finish. Medium body and creamy carbonation. Good, but not great. thornecb (1822), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
