Pours a hazy gold with large white head. Aroma was citrus, light fruit, lemon, sweet caramel malt, and a bit of spice. I must have got a bad bottle because the flavor was terrible and much different then the aroma. Tasted like bad sour apple and rotting fruit. Did not taste good at all.

Poured golden yellow with tight white head. Aroma of yeast, kind of like a larger. Tasted like an American large, dare I say bud, but with a pleasant spice after taste. I am not enjoying this, I am forcing myself to drink this, as my wife got it for Christmas, and I feel it might have cost some $ being Belgian and all. No, it is just not that good. I cannot recommend this, sorry. Also has a bit too much carbonation.

Draught: This one pours an almost clear, straw yellow color. From this, you could tell almost immediately that this was going to be a tripel "light". There was some head to it, but not too much. The aroma was a little light, with mainly components of spicy banana and yeastiness. Some alcohol to the taste. The body was definitely on the lighter side. Good, but trending to the lower half of the style.

Draught at EBF 2008. Poured a slightly yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma of bananas and alcohol. The flavor was yeast, honey and light fruits with a spicy and slight hop aftertaste.

Pale yellow color. Aromas of yeast, malt, and some spice. Flavors of earth, spice, yeast, and slightly sour malt. Alcohol is there, but it doesn’t seem like 9%. Not bad...

Foamy, it was creeping out of the bottle even after I poured half of it. Cloudy golden color. Yeast aroma. Sweet and acidic flavor. Lots of alcohol warmth.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is yeast, with banana, spice. Flavor is okay, but it’s a little dry for my tastes. It was alright, but that’s only because I’ve been shying away from tripels lately.
