| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2002 Very very faint hazy gold with small white short lasting head. Huge burst of floral nectar, raisins and honey on first pour followed by boiled lollies, toffee made with balsamic vinegar, and faint vegemite yeast aromas. Generous yeasty, caramel malt and bitter start. Lighter sweeter zingy middle and clean dry finish. Aftertaste is sweet and the yeast resurfaces at the front of the mouth for a nice effect. Alcohol is quite well masked considering how light a beer it is. Becomes more festive as it warms up. I like it. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Strawberries, bananas, cherries and kiwi in the pleasantly fruity, yeasty nose. Hazy golden body is topped by a generous, fine bubbled, white head that lasts throughout. Yeast character is strong - cake dough and plenty of berry like fruits with some candy sugar, honey, leafy (parsley-like) hops and mild finishing bitterness. Sweet nutty flavour lingers pleasantly in the aftertaste. Medium body is quite dry with lively carbonation that engages the tongue and mild alcohol warming. How does this get rated so low? Tulip glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (BB 04/02/06, Bieropholie, Apr-05). ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA

Aroma is a bit fruity and alcoholic. Smooth yeasty taste with some fruit. The carbonation made it very crisp. It deffinately exceeded my expectations. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Very carbonated. Nice deep taste. Citrus, vanilla, cinamon, slightly bready and yeasty. Overall sweet. Alcohol not there in the taste but is there in the warmth. A rather nice Tripple and I love tripples.
