750 ml. bottle from a local liquor store. Pours clear gold with a decent soapy head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is apricot, plum, hard candy, grain, floral, earthy, and basement funk. This has some complex fruitiness and some aggressive, dry bitterness in the mix to balance the sweetness. Its a nice Belgian triple but nothing to really distinguish it from the pack. Medium body, soft, creamy texture, lively carbonation, and dry, bitter finish.

Pours a hazy golden color. Smells of malts, fruits, and some spices. Taste covers the high alcohol well with fruits and some spices.

330ml bottle Appearance: Clear golden with a good but a bit bubbly white head but with a good retention, leaving some nice lacing Aroma: malts, spices, yeast and fruit (Bananan, plums and bit of lemon) Taste: Typical Belgian triple, Some sweetness, some bitterness and yes this one shows a bit of the alcohol comming through. Medium body, average carbonation.

Rating due to possible bad bottle. Sour, musty aroma, head dissipates to nothing quickly. Will like to rate again. This ones a drain pour.

Pours golden with nice white head. Aroma is caramel, marzipan, licorice and spicy alcohol. Slick mouth feel with medium mouth feel with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is round malt, caramel and lasting alcohol finish. Overall: enjoyable, but nothing special.

A really enjoyable strong ale, my bottle indicated 9.5% not 9 as stated above. High alcohol content is disguised by a beautifully smooth taste which leaves no residue, uncommon for beers of this strength. By no means a session beer but certainly one to look out for next time your in Belgium or at a Belgian beer festival.

Good triple. Notes of banana, honey, clove, and citrus. Alcohol content is masked well. Fuck Pete Carroll.

wildbeercat (338) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 22, 2014
330ml bottle into a Trappist glass; served cold. Aroma: Gentle malt with a very mild sour aroma. Theres a bit of heat coming through. Its all very subtle/gentle though. Appearance: Barely hazy, gold body with a thin, creamy, white head. Very high visible amount of carbonation. Taste: Quite tart, almost verges on sour. A little boozy heat. Definitely malt forward with just a hint of hop bitterness. Palate: Light+ body, prickly carbonation, medium+ finish, ends on light bitterness. Overall: Pretty decent, nothing really stands out about it. Just a nice, tart triple.
