Golden shining and soft feeling in the mouth - perfectly balanced taste - full body and heart warming, a splendid aroma, tickling in the nose - hoppy dry long finish.

Bottle. Typical trippely high spiciness, with slightly unpleasant apple presence, and some alcohol. Rather poor drinking for me. Classic tripel though. Eh.

Bottle shared by MisoW. Golden hazy color, thick white head. Aroma is malty, spicy, coriander, cloves, star anise, light banana on background. Taste is malty, light sweety, notes of honey, coriander, star anise, light hoppy, but a bit unbalanced

Pours gulden with a broken bubble white head that sticks like great stuff to the glass. Aroma is sharp ferment. It foams a lot on intake. Hahaa. All that fuzz fizz makes it difficult to taste.

Kita (1839) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 20, 2016
Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Pours clear deep golden with medium creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy, follows sour grassy, yeasty and mild medicinal, mouthfeel is warming and alcoholic, while finish is moderately bitter. Medium body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Quite hoppy tripel, not the best, but drinkable...

Bottle, from Lidl. Straw gold, vast fluffy pillows of white foam, quickly thinning to a dense sheen, insistent condition. Estery sweet notes with a slightly oxidized note, biscuits and honey, and a gentle spiciness in the nose. Sweet in the mouth with low undercurrents of yeast and esteriness, some hints of grain and a warming alcohol note, a gentle spicy bitterness and a light grapefruit citrus tang cuts the sweetness a little. Finish is estery and sweetly sticky with lots of retronasal alcohol, faintly metallic, and with a gentle spicy bitterness lingering.
