Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 15/07/10. Deep gold with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of hay, with a touch of summer fruit and grassy hop. Easy drinking, with cereal malts and moderately bitter finish, Ok.

Cask handpull at The Borough Arms, Crewe. Brassy gold with a vanishing white rim. Slightly vegetal aroma with nuts, broccoli and stewed tea squirted with lime. Still and husky; abrupt hop bite, earthy malt linger. Tastes a bit like a lager with a squirt of lime. Not brilliant.
