3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (gravity) @ 29th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2012, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.
Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Someting has gone wrong here, but it did work quit okay for me !

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
4th December 2012
Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer, no real head. Light dry palate. Light bretty lambic things going on here. Not unpleasant but surely not intended? Dried fruits and a dry finish with more lambic strangeness.
