3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tonycaviar (76) - - JAN 30, 2012Nagyon kellemes, klasszikus mézes-sütis malátaágyon fejlődik a finom pörkölt édesség és a pikáns, bizsergő komlóaroma. Közepes test, selymes karbonáció. Igazán jó sör, az első magyar belga, könnyen iható, instant klasszikus.

Redbrown pour with a tan head with good lacing. Malty and yeasty aroma. Taste is earthy, and basement-ish, with some sweetness. Okay beer but nothing more.

33cl bottle from Csak a Jó Sör - Only Good Beer in Budapest. Pours a deep brown colored body with a finger-width, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is pretty malty sweet and mash-like with a bunch of caramel, dark toffees, dark fruits, and a touch of roast. Flavor is better. Deep caramels and toffees with a nice roasty, coffee element. Dark fruits, some bread, and just the slightest astringency from the coffee notes. Finishes dry and lightly bitter from the roasts, but balanced well by the malty sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid beer. A touch sweet on the nose, but really well balanced on the flavor with a nice roast and coffee note. Good beer.

Clear deep amber color, with slight off-white foam.
Caramel malt and dried fruit in the nose, and the same is reflected in the taste, with moderated roasted malt, bittersweet aftertaste.
Medium body, good carbonisation.
Good, belgian style beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lore (447) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 22, 2013
dark red colour, minimal beige head (which immediately disappear); aroma of candy sugar; taste of roasted sugar, fruity sourness and significant hoppy bitterness; my only problem is that IT IS NOT A BELGIAN ALE AT ALL (Abbey Dubbel as style must be a joke). I would have given 3.2 as score if they had not indicated it as belgian-style ale. But as a belgian ale, it’s only 2.9 (with a lot of kindliness)
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kiwianer (2462) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2012
On Tap/ The head is ok, the body darkred. Nice fruity taste sweet- a bit bitter, alcoholic-herb. The taste is in my opinion a little bit to alcoholic, but the rest is more then ok. 11/11/11/12/-/11
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rune (6362) - Tromsř, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2012
330ml green bottle bought at Csak a jó Sör in Budapest earlier this summer. Shared with Finn back home. Unclear, dark apricot coloured body. Low, beige coloured head. Spotty lacing. Smell of dark and dried fruits. Sweet dark fruits in the flavour with impact on plums. Distant bitter ending. Nice try, however it tastes a bit immature and unfinished (Tromsř, 11.09.2012).

Flaske 0,33l. Ubalansert. Krydret ettersmak. Virker noe uferdig.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Yage (61) - - AUG 28, 2012
The Tuck-friendly is a real thrilling semi-dark Belgian flavors megspékelt ALE.
Slightly cloudy reddish-brown color with 7.7% alcohol content. The thin, short-lived foam behind to explore the dried fruit, yeast and caramel malt flavor, the smell of discrete as well. A slightly bitter aftertaste, but not intrusive.
Pleasantly bitter aftertaste palateful. Be careful about 8% alcohol content megtréfálhat soon!
